You are viewing: Home > About Lebeau Software
Lebeau Software is a privately owned company that was created in 1999. It started out as just one programmer doing projects here and there when time permitted. After awhile, rather than distributing those projects from different sources and addresses and such, Lebeau Software was formed so as to unify all projects under a single entity.
Remy Lebeau - founder, lead developer
Remy is a highly visible member of the Embarcadero development community, focusing on Delphi, C++Builder, and RAD Studio. He helps other developers with problems in their projects, and to provide expert advise. He received a STAR award from Borland in 2000, and then later became a member of TeamB in 2002. Eventually, in 2023, he also became an Embarcadero MVP.
He is a contributing member of the development and admin teams for the Indy (Internet Direct) open source project and its support forums.
He is a contributing member of Stack Overflow, a Q&A website for professional and enthusiast programmers.
He was a contributing author to the "C++Builder Developer's Journal" and its support forums, before they were shutdown in 2016 and mid-2021, respectively. BCBJ was a monthly online magazine devoted to all things related to Embarcadero's C++Builder development IDE and compilers.
