Lebeau Software is a privately owned company that was created in 1999. It started out as just one programmer doing projects here and there when time permitted. After awhile, rather than distributing those projects from different sources and addresses and such, Lebeau Software was formed so as to unify all projects under a single entity.
Remy Lebeau - founder, lead developer
Remy is a highly visible member of the Embarcadero development community, focusing on Delphi, C++Builder, and RAD Studio products. He helps other developers with problems in their projects, and to provide expert advise. He received a STAR award from Borland in 2000, became a member of the Borland TeamB program in 2002, and became a member of the Embarcadero MVP program in 2023.
He is a contributing member of the development and admin teams for the Indy (Internet Direct) open source project and its support forums.
He is a contributing member of Stack Overflow, a Q&A website for professional and enthusiast programmers, where he focuses on answering user questions about Delphi/C++, Indy, and Win32 development.
He was a contributing author to the "C++Builder Developer's Journal" and its support forums, before they were shutdown in 2016 and mid-2021, respectively. BCBJ was a monthly online magazine devoted to all things related to Embarcadero's C++Builder development IDE and compilers.
